I am back again at this laptop with an eye shield on my left eye due to a cateract removal. These small dramas emphasis how lucky I feel living in my beloved Australia.. Naturally as an artist and writer I am broke. I was told I needed a cateract removed in February 2025 and put on a waiting list. Last week I was told it would be done by the surgeon of my choice at 9.30am yesterday. And it was. Cost free and given the drops that have my eye quite blurry as i write.
